# How to choose between a steel or stainless steel plancha grill or a cast iron plancha grill?

We recommend stainless steel or steel rather than cast iron.

We offer steel or stainless steel planchas because they heat much faster than cast iron.

5-10 minutes for stainless steel and steel against 15-20 minutes for cast iron.

It is therefore easier to modulate your cooking on a stainless steel plate or on a steel plate than on cast iron because the temperature drops or increases more quickly.
